How big is Fasttranslator.co.uk?

Fasttranslator.com has experienced impressive growth over the years. After our start-up as a one-man company in 2000, the company started to expand rapidly. The translation agency currently has offices in both the USA and Europe.

We do not actually translate any texts in-house. All texts are translated by native speakers who are located all around the globe. At the start of 2012, Fasttranslator translation agency’s database contained 4,000 translators, covering over 150 languages. Altogether these freelancers currently translate more than 200,000 words a day.

Our Dutch office Snelvertaler.nl moved east in 2003 with a German company name, Schnelluebersetzer.de. This first international office resulted in offices in Cologne, Berlin, Dresden, Frankfurt, Hamburg, Munich, Stuttgart, Hanover, Nuremberg and Düsseldorf. The Cologne office is also the coordination centre for all translation projects for our German, Austrian and Swiss clients. Starting in 2004, Fasttranslator further expanded into Belgium, France, Norway, Denmark, Finland, the United Kingdom and Ireland.

Fasttranslator.co.uk’s clients include private individuals, government agencies and small, medium and large companies. Fasttranslator.co.uk does not differentiate between them: We are just as happy to work with a private individual who needs a translation of his driver’s license or diploma, as we are to work with one of the large banks which sends us hundreds of thousands of words at a time on a regular basis.

Now that Fasttranslator also has international offices, you will see our company under different names, which is the word for word translation of our company name: Schnelluebersetzer.de, Fasttranslator.com, Hurtigoversaetter.dk and Snabboversattare.se are a few examples. The company has 4,000 clients in 16 different countries.
